About FST

Our Approach

FST or Fascial Stretch Therapy is a research-based recovery system focused on improving flexibility through mobilization of the fascia, the connective tissue system that wraps the muscles, nerves, and organs of the body. This body-wide functional network is key to treating a variety of modern conditions from plantar fasciitis to headaches to chronic pain. It's also an incredible way to destress.

We combine detailed anatomical assessments, fascial stretch therapy, and pilates to create a bespoke treatment to help a variety of conditions by increasing circulation, flexibility, and stability. Read more here

About Me

I am Jessica Williams Veuve (pronounced verve), aka the Veuve in Veuve + Vigor.

Growing up in the San Francisco Bay Area, fitness and overall wellness were instilled as key ingredients of a happy life The culture of optimizing performance was also deeply ingrained as a core value. Starting my education with a degree in molecular, cellular, and developmental biology, I've always been fascinated with the workings of the human body, but excitement of innovation led to me to the tech industry.

Working in tech, I noticed so many of my colleagues (and me!) were suffering from incredible imbalances. We work 50-60 hour weeks craning over our laptops/cell phones/cramming into planes or lifting/bending over a child all day, then for leisure, throw ourselves into incredibly physical activities like marathons, CrossFit, SoulCycle, etc. The result can be less than ideal posture, tension and injury.  We all know the the account executive / marathoner with weak glutes that lead to painful quads and cramps, the developer/avid hiker with headaches and neck pain, or the super mom/ spinning badass with an aching lower back.

My own journey led me to pilates after 2 herniated discs, at the recommendation of my orthopedic surgeon, who called it the best way he had seen to recover and prevent back injuries. This lead me to study Anatomy and Pilates at Kinected under pilates guru Kelly Kane, then Fascial Stretch Therapy with the Stretch to Win Institute.

Now, after 10 years of working in the tech industry for Johnson & Johnson, Conversant (now Publicis), and Twitter I decided to merge my interest in performance and wellness by starting Veuve and Vigor, a boutique, performance-focused recovery protocol designed to complement your existing training and self-care routine.
